SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., August 16, 2021– Cushman & Wakefield announced 300 Grant, the first ground up retail and office development in San Francisco, California’s renowned Union Square since the mid-1980s, has added new tenant Brilliant Earth, a leading global retailer of ethically sourced bridal and fine jewelry. Brilliant Earth’s flagship, situated on the buildings’ entire third floor, is a new contemporary showroom in San Francisco, its origin city, and recently opened for business at their new location.

300 Grant is owned and developed by the joint venture of Artha Capital, based in Mexico City and Zeno Capital, based in London that have owned the site since 2017. The building broke ground in 2018 and was completed in fall of 2020.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Kazuko Morgan, Vice Chairman represented the landlord and tenant in the transaction.

“We are ecstatic to welcome Brilliant Earth to 300 Grant, which marks not only a significant transaction for this new development but also Union Square, one of the world’s most prominent luxury shopping districts,” said Kazuko Morgan. “300 Grant is a modern building in a location with more foot traffic and amenities than any other neighborhood in San Francisco. Its premier high-identity corner with 180 feet of trophy retail frontage is a very rare opportunity for retail tenants wanting their brand in Union Square.”

Brilliant Earth will be joining other retail tenants in the building, including Arc’teryx, a lease that was signed in late 2020.

Located at the corner of Sutter St and Grant Ave, 300 Grant is a prestigious new LEED Gold mixed-use building totaling 70,000 square feet and featuring four levels of high street retail space and three levels of Class A creative office space. The building is located in the heart of the Union Square Retail District and just steps away from the Financial District and Chinatown’s famed Dragon Gate.

“As the first new building in Union Square in over two decades, Brilliant Earth is proud to be a part of this historic location that is prioritizing environmentally friendly building practices,” said Beth Gerstein, CEO. “Being environmentally conscious has always been a cornerstone of our mission at Brilliant Earth.”

Brilliant Earth has been headquartered in San Francisco since its inception in 2005.

Brilliant Earth‘s new larger showroom at 300 Grant features six personal appointment stations plus an extended browsing area for customers. The space is bright and fresh with large windows complementing the white marble display cases, champagne metal trim, porcelain tile, and light wood finishes. It also overlooks Grant Ave, San Francisco’s premier luxury street.

Brilliant Earth has additional showrooms serving key markets including Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, San Diego, Seattle and Washington D.C.
