BCCI Announces Five New Employees

San Francisco (April 29, 2014) – BCCI Construction Company (BCCI), the Bay Area’s premier commercial contractor, is pleased to announce the addition of five new employees within the company.

Recognized as one of the Bay Area’s most progressive construction companies, BCCI has selected highly experienced individuals to complement key divisions in its San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. The new employees include, in San Francisco, Ray Flood, Superintendent; Peter Kim, Assistant Project Manager; Seth Blanc, Business Development Manager; and Katy McNally, Project Manager; and in Palo Alto, Seth Rowell, Assistant Project Manager.

Seth Blanc joins BCCI’s existing Business Development team of Andrea Tobias in the San Francisco office and Kharlo Barcenas in the Palo Alto office. Seth brings over 10 years of regional sales experience to his position as Business Development Manager. Previously working with DFS Green and NEX Systems, Blanc comes to BCCI with many relationships with end-users, architects, brokers and consultants. In addition to his primary role in business development, Blanc will also function as an account executive for specific project opportunities. Blanc holds a marketing degree from California State University, Chico.

Katy McNally, whose previous work with BCCI includes The Battery , returns to BCCI’s San Francisco office as a Project Manager with over 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining BCCI she worked on construction projects for Facebook, Agilent Technologies and Broadvision. McNally holds a civil engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ray Flood joins BCCI’s San Francisco office as Senior Superintendent with over 40 years of experience in field operations, most recently with Turner Construction for 19 years. Flood’s past projects include tenant improvements for a confidential high tech client at Westfield Center, AirTouch Communications, Golden Gate University School of Law, and Stanford University, among many others.

Peter Kim joins BCCI’s San Francisco office as Assistant Project Manager with over 7 years experience in commercial and residential project management and field operations. Kim most recently worked as a Project Engineer for BN Builders on projects for Onyx Pharmaceuticals and Google. Prior to that, he worked for LCG and Axis Construction Services. Kim has a business degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a LEED Green Associate.

Seth Rowell joins BCCI’s Palo Alto office as Assistant Project Manager. Rowell comes from Vanasse Hangen Brustlin in Virginia where he worked as a Project Engineer for the past seven years on retail, mixed-use and commercial projects all across the Eastern seaboard on both the development and construction side. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently working on completing his P.E. certification.

The combined experience of these new team members with the technical knowledge and expertise of BCCI allows the company to continue to develop relationships with prominent organizations such as Google, SAP,Gap Inc., New Relic and Yahoo.
