The two designers bring 37 years of collective experience in a wide range of project types to HOK San Francisco.
Bill Katz (left) has been working as a designer in the Bay Area for 24 years, and has broad experience in architectural, interior and industrial design. His recent projects include 1500 Owens Street in San Francisco, Biopolis Phase V in Singapore, the master plan for a new Stanford University campus in Redwood City and Genentech’s new headquarters in South San Francisco.
Philip Ra (right) brings 13 years of experience with prominent boutique design studios to the San Francisco team. His recent projects include the Singapore General Hospital master plan, Mission Bay Block 40 office building in San Francisco and the Stanford ICBN competition. He shapes a project’s vision, creates and tests building concepts, collaborates with stakeholders and the community, and helps guide the project through construction.
