Bryan Wenter Joins Miller Starr Regalia’s Land Use Practice as Shareholder

Walnut Creek, CA – Miller Starr Regalia, a preeminent California real estate firm for more than 45 years, announced today that Bryan W. Wenter is joining the firm’s Walnut Creek office as a shareholder in the Land Use Practice Group.

Bryan WenterPrior to joining Miller Starr Regalia, Wenter was City Attorney for Walnut Creek, where he advised the City Council, Planning Commission and City Manager on all aspects of municipal law, including planning and zoning laws and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). In his role, he represented the City in processing and defense of land use approvals and CEQA compliance for notable new projects, including a downtown anchor department store, transit oriented development near BART, and numerous mixed-use and multi-family developments, as well as negotiated and drafted various land use transactional documents.

Wenter received his B.A. from the University of Oregon, his Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Wenter has written extensively on land use, planning and zoning law and is a reviewer for the Land Use and Environmental Law Review.
