SAN FRANCISCO (February 3, 2020) – Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street, San Francisco is pleased to announce that famed cabinetry designer Christopher Peacock will collaborate on The Penthouse Collection, the project’s portfolio of penthouse level offerings. The London-born designer, who specializes in exquisite fitted furniture, cabinetry and hardware, has been commissioned to create an exclusive cabinetry collection for the penthouse homes. The residential project, currently under construction at 706 Mission Street in the Yerba Buena Arts District, is scheduled for completion in summer 2020.

“Christopher Peacock is a world-renowned cabinet maker and we are thrilled to partner with him on The Penthouse Collection at 706 Mission,” said Richard Baumert, principal of 706 Mission Co. LLC, the property’s developer. “Our buyers expect the finest in luxury urban living and joining forces with Christopher is another way to fulfill that commitment.”

Peacock’s creations can be found in many of the world’s most stunning private estates. His bespoke offerings for The Penthouse Collection mark his first collaboration with a luxury high-rise in San Francisco, and will include meticulously crafted kitchen, master bath and dressing room cabinetry. Buyers will work directly with Christopher Peacock and his team.

“Christopher Peacock is internationally renowned for his unique ability to customize luxury cabinetry. His work will provide the ideal complement to the personalization and spacious floorplans that are the design hallmarks of these residences,” said Glenn Rescalvo, principal of Handel Architects, the project’s designer.

The Penthouse Collection at Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street, San Francisco comprises 12 unique homes and a spectacular 10,000-square-foot, dual-level Grand Penthouse. The Grand Penthouse features 4,000 square feet of multiple outdoor terraces – a design distinction found nowhere else in San Francisco’s luxury high-rises. The premium penthouse residences are priced in the $15 million to $25 million range, while the Grand Penthouse is priced at $49 million, expected to be the most expensive condominium listing in San Francisco.

The kitchens and baths in the new collection will be one-of-a-kind – each room a bespoke work of art created specifically for each buyer. Kitchen counters and backsplashes will feature hand-selected slabs of white Italian marble paired with the custom cabinetry hardware designed by Peacock for The Penthouse Collection. Island counter slabs will be two inches thick, providing ample support for all culinary endeavors.

Dressing rooms will be a distinct design focus of The Penthouse Collection. These spaces are not just walk-in closets, but rather bespoke spaces for dressing that are perfectly tailored to each buyer’s personal preferences. Clothes, shoes and accessories will be optimally displayed, drawers plushly lined, and lighting ideally placed and toned. Cabinetry offerings in the dressing rooms will include transitional and contemporary stylings that will be fitted with custom hardware created by Peacock for The Penthouse Collection.

“Handel Architects has designed an incredible canvas on which to create extraordinary cabinetry offerings,” said Peacock. “With soaring ceilings, generous views of Jessie Square and expansive floorplans, every residence will be a luxury retreat. The dressing rooms will be a unique point of distinction in The Penthouse Collection – offering a luxurious enclave for dressing up and winding down from the day. All the pieces in this collection will marry traditional lines with contemporary sophistication, all customized to each buyer’s taste. The results will be spectacular.”

Peacock’s handcrafted cabinetry, made in the United States and customized to suit the tastes of the world’s most demanding clients, is made from only the finest raw timber materials. His painstaking process includes impeccable installation of the entire kitchen and bathroom cabinetry followed by the hand painting of each cabinet. Every brushstroke achieves a depth of color and subtlety of texture that cannot be achieved by any other means.

Christopher Peacock Cabinetry was launched in 1992 and quickly established itself as the paragon of beautiful, custom hand-crafted classic English cabinetry.  His portfolio includes projects for high-profile clients from the worlds of arts, sports, politics and business. Peacock operates showrooms across the globe, with locations in Cannes, France and London and stateside in Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Greenwich, Connecticut; Millburn, New Jersey; New York City, San Francisco and Orange County, California.
