Another strong year of office sales in San Francisco ended 2016 with more than $5.3 billion transacted. This robust volume was just below recent highs achieved in 2014 and 2012, and investor demand maintained momentum while domestic and international buyers transacted 36 office buildings across the city. Class A average sale price per sq. ft. reach an all-time high of $788, correspondingly, the price per sq. ft. high watermark exceeded $1,200.
