CSDA Design Group Announces Senior Staff Promotions

San Francisco, CA – August 18, 2014: CSDA Design Group (CSDA) has announced the promotion of three senior staff members. They are named as follows:

  • Zachary Goodman, AIA, LEED AP – Senior Associate
  • Grace Gardner – Associate
  • Yong Yoo, AIA, NCARB – Associate

Zachary Goodman, AIA, LEED AP, joined CSDA in 2013 as an Associate. For more than 25 years, he has been a Project Architect for numerous K-12 schools and several award-winning civic projects. Based in the San Francisco office, he is currently leading architectural services for some of CSDA’s key clients including Lagunitas School District, Sequoia Union High School District and San Francisco Unified School District. Moving forward, as Senior Associate, he will continue to provide excellent service to his clients while serving as CSDA’s educational architecture group leader in Northern California.

Grace Gardner joined CSDA in 2007 as a Planner. She is based in the Los Angeles office where she applies her sound problem-solving and analytical abilities to lead the successful development of large campus master plans for national and international clients including Los Angeles Unified School District, American International School of Vienna and International School of Krakow. In her new position as Associate, she will continue to apply her expertise in planning as well as landscape architecture to work with design teams in developing 21st century learning environments that preserve and enhance campus safety, aesthetics and sustainability.

Yoo

Yong Yoo, AIA, joined CSDA in 2011 as a Project Architect. Based in the Los Angeles office, he has more than 18 years of experience in the design and construction of public K-12 schools throughout the U.S. Yong’s portfolio is comprised of various project types including education, residential, religious, and commercial facilities. He is currently leading the design effort and overseeing the production of construction documents for CSDA projects in the Los Angeles area. In his new role as Associate, he will continue to focus on delivering projects on time and on budget with an emphasis on details, quality and proactive communication with all stakeholders.
