San Ramon, Calif. – Enterprise Holdings, the largest car rental company in the world and one of America’s largest privately held companies, has signed a long term lease to occupy 31,000 square feet on the fourth floor of Bishop Ranch 3 (BR3), located at 2633 Camino Ramon.
The lease consolidates the company’s San Leandro offices with their existing office space in Bishop Ranch, establishing a regional office. Enterprise previously occupied space at Bishop Ranch 8 (BR8) and the move will be an expansion of approximately 23,000 square feet.
“As a company, we are excited to bring our Northern California Headquarters to Bishop Ranch which will create synergies amongst our team and provide our employees with a state of the art facility from which to work,” said Thomas Klingler, Vice President of Finance for Enterprise Holdings.
Enterprise Holdings operates a global network of more than 8,600 fully staffed neighborhood and airport locations under the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands. In addition, Enterprise Holdings and its affiliate, Enterprise Fleet Management together offer a total transportation solution, including extensive car rental and car sharing services, truck rental, corporate fleet management and retail car sales.
“It’s gratifying that we’re able to provide Enterprise Holdings with the additional space they need and the flexibility to grow,” said Alex Mehran Jr., president and COO of Sunset Development Company. “It’s a good sign when a valued tenant looks at the competitive marketplace and continues to see Bishop Ranch as the best choice for their needs.”
The move to BR3 is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed. Tim Hogan and Dan Moylan with DTZ Real Estate represented Enterprise Holdings.
Enterprise Holdings will join neighbors Coke, GE Technologies, New York Life and Chubb in BR3. The diverse mix of world-class companies in Bishop Ranch is unparalleled, offering a full-service business community unlike any other throughout the region.
