Montessori School Expands to Accommodate Increase in Students; New Lifestyle Retailers Include Pilates Studio and High-End Barber
San Francisco, CA (July 17, 2018) – Positive accolades and events continue at Equity Residential’s 855 Brannan and Potrero 1010 apartment communities in the Design District of San Francisco. Not only is 855 Brannan now the largest LEED Platinum certified multifamily development in all of San Francisco and 95% leased, it has signed one new retail lease and one expansion lease, with Potrero 1010 signing another new retailer, announced Drew Sullins, Vice President of Development, Equity Residential. The expansion lease is for Studio Montessori and the two new leases are with RockSalt Pilates and The District Barbers.
Studio Montessori, a French/English Bilingual preschool, is moving into a nearly 2500 square foot space at 855 Brannan. “We’re excited to be able to expand our enrollment and services to meet the increased demand for high quality early education services from young families,” says owner, Zoe Paul. “Our community based approach and international staff and curriculum pair perfectly with the values of families looking for a non-traditional approach to raising their children.” Ms. Paul’s passion for Montessori education and having a global outlook resonates deeply with residents in 855 Brannan and the surrounding neighborhoods. The District Barbers is proud to announce the grand opening of their second location at 855 Brannan Street in San Francisco CA. The 810 square foot flagship grooming sanctuary will expand on its reputation for high quality haircuts, hot towel shaves, and facial services. The convenient location, complimentary beer, whiskey and wine, allows clients to relax while receiving the new manicure and pedicure services. The District Barbers is a man cave nirvana, and in line to set the example of what men’s grooming is about.
RockSalt Pilates will be opening its first location in San Francisco within 1,130 square feet at Potrero 1010. Well known for Pilates at its two other locations on the Peninsula, founder and owner Adrian Ramirez cites the demographics and demand for his decision to expand into the city. “It seems to be the right time to open a studio in San Francisco and Potrero 1010 is definitely the right location. We not only like the vibrancy of the community and the Design District as a whole, we value Equity Residential’s focus on sustainability.
