BOMA Oakland/East Bay: Drop the Ball: Focus & Say No
September 9 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm PDT
About Drop the Ball:
In the modern workplace, many feel pressure to be so incredibly productive that they often work counterintuitively and wear themselves down. No one has unlimited resources and it’d difficult to be a leader when you’re consistently overwhelmed from juggling. It’s time to learn how to delegate and how to let some things go, so you have energy for what matters most to you. Guest speaker Emily Ransome is going to walk us through some concepts and exercises to help us drop a ball or two that we’ve been juggling. Join us for an engaging and enlightening virtual program.
About the Speaker:
Born in Dallas and raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Emily Ransone currently calls San Jose, California home. After running and owning two office furniture dealerships ranging from $13 to $50 million and two commercial real estate start-ups, Emily has seen it all and knows how lonely those tough times can be. She’ll share stories about wrong people in wrong seats, vendor negotiations gone sideways, lost profits due to ineffective processes and lack of training, and others every business owner can relate to and understand. Emily recently founded Traction for Growth, a coaching practice that utilizes the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to help other entrepreneurs and leadership teams get more of what they want from their business.
