The 36th Annual ARES Meeting in 2020 is an opportunity to receive feedback on your research, see colleagues from throughout the world, and network in a beautiful location at a hotel with amazing amenities.
Mark your calendars for our next ARES Annual meeting from April 14 – 18, 2020 at the stunning Sanibel Harbor Marriott Resort and Spa. The resort is located on the Punta Rassa, an 85-acre peninsula on San Carlos Bay in Fort Myers, Florida.
Program highlights: Presentation of research in multiple areas of real estate, refereed sessions with discussants (upon request), and an opportunity to win one of the multiple competitive manuscript awards which are decided through a peer review process.
Location/access: The hotel is an island resort in sunny Florida , only 22 miles from the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
Hotels: Attendees of the conference will stay in one of several nearby hotels and properties or take advantage of some amazing short term rental options from AirBnb, VRBO and others.
Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa (Host Hotel) ranges from $275 – $500/night while rooms last. Space is very limited at the Marriott and will likely sell out well before the conference registration deadline.

You and your family can experience one-on-one natural encounters, play on top-notch Fort Myers beaches and treat yourselves to endless family-friendly attractions, restaurants and resorts in Fort Myers and surrounding areas along southwest Florida’s sunny Gulf Coast. And don’t miss the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford winter estates. Back in 1916, Ford bought land in downtown Fort Myers, next door to Edison, his mentor. Now, both estates serve as museums that honor their founders and remind all of us about what they overcame and what they accomplished.
