CREW SF: Navigating Change: A Conversation with Former Oakland Planning Director, Rachel Flynn, and Incoming CREW SF President, Jodi Fedor
January 11, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm PST
CREW SF is thrilled to welcome Rachel Flynn, previously Director of Planning and Building for the City of Oakland, and now working on Lennar’s $6 billion redevelopment of the Concord Naval Weapons Station, for a conversation about navigating change. Rachel’s career has taken her from practicing architecture in the private sector to serving as Director of Planning and Building for the cities of Richmond, Virginia, Lynchburg, Virginia, and Oakland. She recently returned to the private sector – and is working with FivePoint, a Lennar affiliate, where she will oversee the transformation of the 2,300 acre Concord site into a master development that includes residential, office, retail, open space, an educational campus, and a sports complex. The one constant has been Rachel’s role in navigating change – both in the built environment and in her own career. Incoming President of CREW SF, Jodi Fedor, attorney with SSL Law Firm, will moderate what is certain to be an engaging conversation. Register today!
