Elena Bondareva, WELL AP –Vice President: Growth at CETEC
Through a varied international career, Elena Bondareva (MA, BS: Cornell University) has amassed a solid track record of transformative innovation around persistent problems. Elena has held public, private, teaching and Board roles in Australia, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, India, and the US; delivered CPD training to thousands of professionals; participated in globally significant events such as COP17, G20, and World Green Building Council Congress; published in peer-reviewed and public journals; and presented at countless conferences. Today, she is making robust tools for facts-based talent management and decision-making more broadly accessible across the property industry through CETEC, an independent international building science consultancy.
Kena David, WELL Faculty, WELL AP, LEED AP ID+C- Director of Sustainability, BCCI
With expertise in sustainability and green building, as well as a background in chemistry, Kena David leads the Sustainability Department at BCCI, shaping departmental initiatives and working with project teams to support client sustainability goals. Kena has completed dozens of projects under LEED for Commercial Interiors, New Construction and Core and Shell rating systems, as well as the world’s first LEED v4 for Commercial Interiors Platinum Certified project. Additionally, she has worked on over half a dozen WELL projects including the first WELL Certified™ interiors in San Francisco, the first WELL Certified™ ground up in Northern California, and the first WELL Certified™ project in Texas. Her experience includes sustainable design strategy/cost analysis and LEED and WELL project management. Kena also provides educational training on the successful implementation of green building strategies and workshops on various sustainability frameworks. Furthermore, her expertise is demonstrated with her credentials as a LEED AP in Interior Design and Construction, a WELL AP, and a WELL Faculty member providing education on the WELL Building Standard and contributing to the continual development of the program. Lastly, Kena has been recognized for her leadership having been awarded the 2017 ELEVATE Rising Rock Star Award by the Northern California CREW chapters and The Registry and the Northern California Women of Real Estate Rising Star Award, and is a current Board Director for CREW San Francisco.
