We rarely think of networking as a science. However there’s plenty of research that suggests how human behavior and psychology influence who and how we connect with people. Using network theory principles, business development and marketing professionals can strategically build their networks, promote their corporate brand, and influence decision makers online and offline.
In this training attendees will learn social network theory and its application to LinkedIn’s algorithm. We will look at the platform’s additional features and capabilities, and review strategies and scripts to help attendees better utilize their professional networks and build a platform for thought leadership. If you have a hunch that you, your team members and company could be using LinkedIn more effectively – this program is for you.
During this session we will cover:
● How to map your existing network
● Identify and target knowledge gaps in the Go/No-Go Process
● How network diversity improves information quality
● Strategies to transform online connections into real world relationships
Maisha Christian Hagan is the owner and head coach at Beauty & the Boss, a professional development and career coaching service that helps women strategically position themselves for promotion or career growth. Prior to starting Beauty & the Boss, Maisha’s career was concentrated in the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) as a professional services marketer, Director and member of an executive leadership team for multi-million dollar companies. She has a passion for people, a mind for business and a gift to teach and has leveraged those strengths into teaching, mentoring, coaching and public speaking opportunities in public, private and non-profit communities.
