Homes at Knox from Trumark Urban 75 Percent Sold

The only for-sale residential community in San Francisco’s Dogpatch is three-quarters sold just three months after opening

San Francisco, Calif. (June 28, 2017)— Trumark Urban is pleased to announce that 75 percent of the residences at Knox, a mixed-use residential development in the heart of San Francisco’s Dogpatch and just steps from and the 22nd Street Caltrain station, have been swept off the market. The 91 condominiums at Knox, represented by Polaris Pacific, began sales just three months ago.

“Knox is clearly meeting a demand for an exquisitely designed urban living experience that’s also part of such an authentic, tightly-knit community as Dogpatch,” says Arden Hearing, Managing Director of Trumark Urban. “It’s an exhilarating time. One of the sunniest parts of San Francisco is reclaiming its place as a hub of creative industries and arts. With so few opportunities to purchase in the vicinity, buyers are thrilled to become homeowners in this fast growing, transit-rich neighborhood.”

Knox is currently the only for-sale condominium building in Dogpatch, an area the New York Times recently called “America’s Next Great Art Neighborhood.” Knox features unique one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans priced from the $750,000s. In addition to its location one block from Caltrain, Silicon Valley’s commuter rail, Knox is adjacent to SF-Muni’s T and K light rail lines, which have two stops along the neighborhood’s 3rd Street commercial corridor.

“I work from home a lot and it’s great to live in Dogpatch, away from the chaos in Mission Bay and SoMa, where I lived before,” said Knox homeowner Francois Vandermerwe. “And I love that Dogpatch is a real community, with culinary entrepreneurs, art galleries, and authentic makers and purveyors.”

The Dogpatch neighborhood is exploding in commercial and creative activity with dozens of new restaurants and businesses having opened recently alongside well-established neighborhood dining, drinking and retail locations. The area’s arts and manufacturing scene, too, is in the midst of a revitalization. New art endeavors and makers, such as the Romer Young Gallery, the Minnesota Street Project and numerous SFMade companies, have joined longstanding producers, arts groups and artist studios in Dogpatch, sparking a new wave of artistic ingenuity and energy.

“Knox delivers homes that pay tribute to their handcrafted and environmentally-conscious surroundings and that is clearly resonating with buyers and prospective owners. The entrepreneurial, artisan spirit of Dogpatch is captured in this new residential community,” says Tabatha Petersen, Marketing Director of Trumark Urban.

Designed by BDE Architecture, Knox’s architecture and interiors emphasize effortlessly elegant living spaces that are deeply rooted in comfort and composed in organic textures and finishes. The landscaping, designed by Miller Company, features lush plantings in the courtyard and around the building’s exterior, including a butterfly habitat for native butterflies.

The Knox Sales Gallery is located at 1300 22nd Street and is open to the public to explore floor plans, views, amenities, and availability. Visitors are welcome daily from 11AM to 5PM.
