Housefax™ Names Former CEO Allan Dalton As Chief Strategy Officer

Haymarket, Va. – Housefax, a national data aggregation service providing property history reports for homebuyers and sellers, today announced former CEO Allan Dalton joined its executive team as Chief Strategy Officer. In this new management role, Dalton will help drive strategic growth for Housefax and bring more than 35 years of real estate experience to the emerging national property data startup.

“In the next six months, we plan to add 20 new data points to our current property history reports, making Housefax one of the most data-driven home transaction tools available for both buyers and sellers,” said Dalton. “We’ve already sold reports across 40 states and have seen a terrific response from consumers and real estate industry professionals.”

Dalton, who was named “One of the Industry’s 25 Most Influential Thought Leaders” by the National Association of Realtor’s Realtor Magazine, sees Housefax as more than a powerful tool for homebuyers, but an asset for real estate professionals and sellers as well.

“Housefax reports will encourage consumer-centric real estate professionals to expand their knowledge of a property in order to more effectively counsel their clients,” said Dalton. “In today’s information age, it’s essential that real estate agents help home sellers become better informed. Housefax addresses this need with consumer-friendly reports that can help sellers identify red flags before they even put the house on the market.”

Housefax, which launched in July 2013, aggregates a variety of public and proprietary data, gathering accurate and reliable property records from highly accredited sources into one easy-to-understand report. Dalton joins an executive team of technology, real estate and marketing professionals who are committed to addressing the need for buyer-beware information in the housing market.

“It’s incredible to have an industry icon like Allan on the executive team of Housefax,” said Housefax Founder and CEO Eddy Lang. “Allan’s knowledge of the real estate industry is an invaluable benefit for a growing startup, and with him on board as chief strategist, we’re putting that knowledge to good use by adding powerful new features and data points to our reports.”
