San Francisco, CA – BCA Architects, a West Coast architectural firm, announced that Lacie Hanson has rejoined the firm as a Project Designer.
At BCA, Lacie works on a variety of tasks including preparing architectural drawings and renderings, consulting manufacturers, and inspecting architectural features of structures in the field. Lacie is no stranger to BCA having worked for the firm previously as a Construction Administration Project Assistant. Paul Bunton and the team at BCA Architects are delighted to welcome Lacie back.
Prior to rejoining BCA Architects, Lacie worked as a dance instructor and performing arts coordinator at the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA. Additionally she was a performer with the Arabina Dance Company where she specialized in folkloric solo and group dances from Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Tunisia, and Iran. Lacie believes that dance and architecture are very similar, and she brings her creativeness and precision to both passions. Now that she has returned to BCA, she still maintains her dancing recreationally.
Lacie graduated from the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, CA with an Associates Degree in Interior Design. While at school, Lacie won an award for her work on a children’s hospital. This project is what made her passionate about working on structures designed for children, something she continues to do as she works on 21st Century Learning Environments for BCA.
