Sunnyvale, CA—Dennis Giles, president of Level 10 Construction, announced today that, as part of expanding its operations throughout California, Level 10 has opened new offices in San Francisco and San Diego. The company currently has a backlog of more than $750 million in construction projects.
Level 10’s San Francisco office, managed by Project Executive Steve DeWees, is located at 301 Howard Street, Suite 870. The San Diego office, under the leadership of Vice President of Operations Mike Conroy, is based at 4660 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 620.
Level 10’s San Francisco office is currently overseeing one of the city’s most iconic building projects, the construction of 181 Fremont Street, a 54-story mixed-use high rise tower in downtown San Francisco, adjacent to the new Transbay Transit Center. Construction on the 681,000 square foot LEED Gold project begins in November, with occupancy expected in the second quarter of 2016.
At 800 feet, 181 Fremont Street is expected to be the second tallest building in San Francisco when it is completed, adding a dramatic focal point to the skyline. Designed by Heller Manus, 181 Fremont Street offers 404,000 square feet of Class A office space on 33 floors and 74 luxury condominium residences on the top 15 floors. It will connect by skybridge to a 5-acre park elevated on the Transbay Terminal.
In addition to mixed-use high rise projects, the San Francisco office of Level 10 will be working within a number of other sectors, including higher education, biotech, technology and corporate facilities.
“San Francisco is going through a tremendous building boom,” said Giles. “We are excited to be a part of it and to contribute our expertise and the experience of our seasoned team to the development of this dynamic city.”
181 Fremont Street is being developed by Jay Paul Company, a leading San Francisco-based real estate developer and owner of over 5 million square feet of prime commercial real estate throughout California.
181 Fremont Street Project Executive Steve DeWees is a veteran of high-rise construction, with past projects including The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a 50-story hotel and casino; MGM Grand Hotel & Casino; and the new $4 billion dollar development The Baha Mar Casino & Hotel in the Bahamas.
