SAN FRANCISCO (July 9, 2018) – Signaling continued expansion of its West Coast presence, Lincoln Property Company has named Tim Walling as Vice President in its San Francisco office. Walling joins the LPC West team, with a focus on acquisitions, investments, and deal execution in the Northern California region.
Walling comes to LPC West from Newmark Knight Frank, where he was a Director focusing on investment sales in the Bay Area. Walling brokered dozens of transactions across multiple product types, including several major Class A office sales and joint ventures. Walling also previously worked at HFF LP in their San Francisco office, where he performed deal execution, financial modeling, and led due diligence efforts. Previously, Walling was an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets.
At LPC West, he will work alongside executive vice presidents Brandon Wang and John Herr, who lead all aspects of Lincoln’s activities in Northern California.
“Tim has spent the last several years brokering deals in the Northern California markets, which has yielded extensive knowledge and deep ties to the area,” said Wang. “With his experience and drive to execute successful deals, we are confident he will make a big impact in the Bay Area as a vital member of our team.”
Walling joins LPC West’s increasingly active San Francisco office. Last year, the company was selected to serve as the asset manager of the Transbay Transit Center, a regional transportation hub under construction in downtown San Francisco. The center, dubbed the “Grand Central Station of the West,” will include over 100,000 square feet of retail space and a 5.4-acre rooftop park.
“Tim has experience on nearly every side of this business, and he brings a great deal of knowledge and a unique perspective to the team,” said David Binswanger, Senior Executive Vice President of LPC West. “With Tim on board, we are well-positioned to continue expanding our activities in Northern California.”
Walling graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University, and completed the Alternative Investments program, focused on Real Estate investing, at the London School of Economics & Political Science. Walling is a CFA Level II Candidate.
“LPC West has an incredible track record and is only growing,” said Walling. “This is a unique opportunity to join a driven and dedicated team, and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running to expand the portfolio for our LPC clients in the Bay Area.”
