San Francisco, CA (January 5, 2022) – Longfellow Real Estate Partners (Longfellow) has announced the addition of Lauren McDermott as Managing Director, San Francisco. As Managing Director, San Francisco, she will set and execute the strategy for the firm’s continued growth and presence in the Northern California region along with Longfellow’s executive leadership.
Ms. McDermott comes to Longfellow from the CIM Group where she served as Vice President and was responsible for a wide variety of commercial real estate developments, specifically focused on acquisitions and asset management in the Bay Area and several metros in the US. Key projects during her tenure include Uptown Station and Jack London Square in Oakland as well as Centennial Yards in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her professional career, Lauren has built a track record of success and excellence, serving in various key positions such as Vice President in the REIT Finance Group at Wells Fargo and Financial Analyst in the Real Estate Banking Group.

Lauren earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MBA from Columbia University. Saying active with the business community, in the past she has served with the Urban Land Institute and on the Board of Directors for the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
