LS Power Grid California has started building the Skyline terminal, a high-voltage direct current converter station on a listed hazardous-materials parcel near Coleman Avenue and Ryland Street that will anchor the downtown end of a 1,000-megawatt underground line built to serve data centers and advanced manufacturing.
