New Leadership at Kidder Mathews Zeros in on Property Management Sector, Bringing on Regional Expert Warren Mead to Lead Bay Area Growth

Kidder Mathews

San Francisco, Calif. – Warren Mead, RPA® has joined Kidder Mathews, the largest independently owned commercial real estate firm on the West Coast, as Senior Vice President for Northern California Asset Services.

This news follows other significant leadership changes in the division. Last week, Kidder Mathews announced that Paul Klink has been promoted to the company’s President of Asset & Client Services, and Erin French, CPM®, CCIM has been promoted to COO of Asset Services.

Mead brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in property and asset management, with a focus on talent development. His passion for connecting with others in the industry is shown in his extensive work in the commercial real estate community. He holds the prestigious Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). He has also served on BOMA’s Board of Directors for several years, including as president in 2020. He has also been a guest lecturer at University of San Francisco and an instructor in San Francisco State’s Real Estate Fellows Program.

Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Mead held the position of Director of Asset Services for Cushman & Wakefield for 10 years, where he was responsible for over eight million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, the East Bay Area, and Marin County.

“There is a need for a more nimble, privately held firm in this region,” Mead says. “I consider Kidder Mathews the high-touch option for clients in Northern California, and I intend to expand our presence in the property management space to provide a much-needed level of service to clients here. I’m looking forward to recruiting top talent as part of that expansion.”

Mead notes that Kidder Mathews has won 67 Best Workplace awards from multiple publications on the West Coast and nationally, including the San Francisco Business Times, the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and the Bay Area News Group.

“Warren’s deep knowledge of the Bay Area commercial real estate market and enthusiasm for elevating client service put him in an excellent position to lead growth throughout the region,” says Paul Klink, President of Asset & Client Services.
