600 National Avenue RenderingNewmark Cornish & Carey Selected As Commercial Brokerage Firm for New Class A Office Space

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ca., National Avenue Partners, LLC, a full service real estate development company, today announced that it has submitted construction plans with City of Mountain View for its proposed development project, 600 National Avenue, which received city approval for the project in May. The Partnership also announced that Phil Mahoney, Executive Managing Director, Mike Saign, Vice President and Randy Gabrielson, Executive Managing Director of Newmark Cornish & Carey have been selected to represent the property for lease.

Located in Mountain View’s East Whisman area, demolition of structures currently on the site is under way, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2015. Upon completion, 600 National Ave will have 4 stories of Class A office space with floor plates ranging from 33,000 to 36,000 square feet. The 145,000 square foot building is designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification with, floor-to-ceiling glass for optimal natural light, outdoor balconies and extensive landscaping.

“600 National Avenue is designed as premier office environment with convenient access to three freeways as well as excellent light rail and shuttle services to downtown Mountain View and CalTrain,” said Vic Fracaro, a Managing Partner of National Avenue Partners, LLC. “Beyond proximity to such major tech companies as Google and Symantec and an vibrant downtown area, the category and location make this ideal space for either fast growing startups or large companies looking to expand beyond their current locations.”

“In this tight commercial real estate market, premier office vacancy in Mountain View for buildings of this size is in the low single digits,” said Mahoney. “Furthermore, there is not any substantial supply coming on the market any time soon. 600 National has the unique benefit of location on the 101 corridor as well as easy access to public transportation; it’s a top tier property with great appeal.”

“The Mountain View City Council seeks to promote projects that are environmentally sustainable and beneficial to our community. The 600 National Ave. project is a great example,” said Mountain View Mayor Chris Clark. “From the initial site cleanup and replacement of older, less efficient structures to utilizing its proximity to transit and planning for LEED Gold Certification, National Avenue Partners, LLC, demonstrates what is possible for the future of the East Whisman Area.”
