Addition Strengthens Real Estate & Finance Practice

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27, 2014 – Sedgwick LLP announces the addition of Paula S. Crow, as a partner, to the Real Estate & Finance practice in its San Francisco office. Joining from Lubin Olson & Niewiadomski LLP, Crow focuses on commercial real estate transactions and represents major publicly held companies in leasing and purchase and sales matters, including the tenant on the second largest commercial lease in San Francisco last year. Crow’s work for Silicon Valley clients extends throughout the U.S. and Canada and to major international business centers.

Crow_Paula“Paula’s extensive experience makes her ideally suited to handle a variety of real estate and finance projects. Her understanding of transactional real estate law and California’s complex regulatory environment positions her as a key resource for our clients, building upon the firm’s already vast knowledge base,” said Curtis Parvin, chair of Sedgwick’s Commercial Division.

With more than 30 years of legal experience, Crow advises clients on a broad range of issues, including financing, workouts, foreclosure, bankruptcy, multi-family rental housing, commercial condominiums, class A corporate headquarters office space and live entertainment venue leasing. In addition, Crow has represented Oversight Boards in connection with the termination and winding down of redevelopment agencies in California since the 2011 passage of ABX1 26 legislation.

Active in the business community, Crow is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women San Francisco (CREW SF) and a past contributor to its newsletter, The View. She earned her J.D. (1980) and B.A. (1977) from the University of California, Berkeley.
