SAN FRANCISCO (April 14, 2015) – Lennar Urban announced that presales begin today on the next release of homes within the newest buildings, Tides and Thayer, at The San Francisco Shipyard, the transformative, multibillion dollar waterfront community.
The first two buildings within the community, Olympia and Merchant, recently sold out with homeowners moving in this spring.
Pricing for the latest phase begins in the low $500Ks for one-bedroom condominiums at Thayer and in the high $700Ks for two-bedroom townhomes at Tides. Within this release, there are currently 159 homes under construction.
- Tides: Two-bedroom townhomes are priced from the high $700Ks and three-bedrooms from the high $800Ks. Many homes feature private backyards with locally curated landscaping, private decks and attached private garages.
- Thayer: A modern take on San Francisco’s iconic Edwardian flats, the one-bedroom condominiums are priced from the low $500Ks, one-bedroom plus a den from the mid $600Ks and two-bedrooms from the mid-$700Ks.
“We are thrilled to bring these new homes to San Francisco, a market that is clamoring for well-priced, beautifully designed condominiums and townhomes,” said Sheryl McKibben, vice president of sales and marketing at Lennar Urban.
The San Francisco Shipyard is crafted from the culture of a historic San Francisco neighborhood and features contemporary design with amenities such as parks, backyards, private patios and rooftop decks.
Located along the San Francisco waterfront, The San Francisco Shipyard is poised to take its place among the city’s most desirable real estate. In addition to an array of amenities, hundreds of acres of parks and open space and easy access to downtown, residents will be adjacent to an Urban Innovation District. This integrated development will comprise three million square-feet of waterfront commercial space, an emerging business incubator and San Francisco State University’s extended campus. Through purposeful programming and physical design, the district will be activated with coffeehouses, gyms, dining, retail and entertainment venues.
