FREMONT, Calif.– Colliers International recently brokered a lease at 45101-45125 Industrial Drive in Fremont, CA.
The former Autodesk & McCollister’s Moving & Storage facility, which is owned and managed by PS Business Parks, was leased to Quanta Computer Inc. (www.quantatw.com), one of the world’s largest notebook computer original design manufacturing companies. Quanta Computer Inc currently occupies over 1,000,000 square feet of industrial and R&D space throughout Fremont.
The ±125,501 square foot Class ‘A’ warehouse/distribution space features ±5,300 square feet of office, up to 28’ interior ceiling clearance, 32 dock-high doors, 4 grade-level doors and a secured yard area. Corporate neighbours include Actiontec Electronics and Cintas Document Shredding.
This is the eighth lease transaction greater than 100,000 square feet completed year-to-date on the I-880 Corridor. “We had this facility on the market for only a month and have had great activity on it. This just shows that the market is not slowing down and large warehouse spaces will soon be scarce along the I-880 Corridor,” says Ed Hofer, SIOR, Senior Vice President of Colliers International’s San Jose office who represented the Landlord in this transaction along with Greig Lagomarsino, SIOR of Colliers’ Oakland office.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
