Residential Models by Clodagh Design and RH, Restoration Hardware, and Luxury Apartment Models at Avery 450,
Provide a First Look at the World-Class Building’s Inspired Interiors and Panoramic Views
SAN FRANCISCO (May 15, 2019) – Related California, the West Coast affiliate of the nation’s largest privately-owned real estate firm, Related Companies, today announces the debut of luxury models at its highly anticipated residential high-rise, The Avery. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s inspiring new Transbay District, The Avery features impressive architecture by Pritzker Prize-awarded Rem Koolhaas’ Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). With the stunning residential interiors and amenities designed by renowned Clodagh Design, the condominiums, which start on the 33rd floor, offer three distinctive models with a three-bedroom residence by Clodagh Design and two additional residences by luxury home furnishings retailer RH. In the luxury rental component of the building, Avery 450, located on floors 2-32, there are three model apartments styled by Related. The thoughtfully designed model residences provide an exclusive first look at The Avery’s exquisite interiors and sweeping views in advance of the building’s official opening in June 2019.
An architectural statement, The Avery reflects the visionary work of OMA, representing the firm’s first-ever high-rise in San Francisco, and Clodagh Design, which brings nature-inspired living to the interiors and amenities. Starting from an inviting ground floor presence accented by limestone and bronze details, and soaring 618 feet into the sky, the tower boasts a striking glass façade that tapers at specific angles as it rises, uniquely providing residences with endless views in virtually every direction. The Avery condominiums and Avery 450 luxury rentals boast exclusive, separate lobbies leading directly to their respective homes.
Residential Models at The Avery
Three newly completed residential models showcase The Avery’s rich design and carefully considered layouts, specifically constructed for the discerning tastes of The Avery’s prospective residents. Every light-filled room features expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows, framing panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, Bay Bridge, and City skyline.
- Three-Bedroom Residence Model by Clodagh Design – Inspired by the Bay Area’s connection to nature, acclaimed Clodagh Design selected luxurious and warm finishes and furnishings in its first completed residence – a 1,934-square-foot, 3-bedroom model home with spectacular water and city views. Refined details include hand-selected Italian Michelangelo marble kitchen counters with full-height backsplashes and island waterfalls, in addition to Miele appliances with integrated paneling. Spa-inspired master bathrooms boast walls clad in full-height marble tiling, custom dual vanities with Cristallo Pearl marble counters, frameless glass showers and Kaldewei soaking tubs. Additionally, the residence features 7” wide plank oak flooring throughout, Dornbracht fixtures, and a meticulous design influenced by the principles of feng shui. Bedrooms are clad in luxurious, textured wallcoverings that provide a rich sense of materiality, while multiple touchpoints – including the views, textured woods and natural stones – were carefully selected to connect people to nature.
- Residential Models by RH – Drawing from the luxury brand’s renowned RH Interiors and RH Modern collections, RH collaborated with The Avery to design two models: a 1,652 square-foot, two-bedroom residence and a 961 square-foot, one-bedroom residence – each with stunning views and refined décor. The striking one-bedroom was envisioned as a luxe, tranquil retreat floating above the urban buzz of San Francisco’s SOMA district. A calming palette of soft airy whites layered with rich earthen hues and warm atmospheric greys creates a sense of escape, while the city skyline inspires a juxtaposition of clean bold lines and dynamic angles expressed through select contemporary art, décor and key statement pieces. Lush texture and subtle brass and metallic accents infuse the space with depth, sophistication and a feeling of relaxed refinement. With its captivating views of the bay experienced through dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, the two-bedroom model was inspired by San Francisco’s modern urban aesthetic and idyllic natural landscapes. Evoking sea and sky, serene blue tones play counterpoint to a range of rich wood finishes, while sleek silhouettes and glimmering mixed metals reflect the city’s iconic architecture. Organic textures, sumptuous textiles and abstract art create a sense of place and worldly luxury.
