San Jose Planning Commission Advances 80-Home Glider Project, Unlocking $26.6MM for Oak Grove School District

San Jose's Planning Commission has unanimously recommended approval of The True Life Companies' 80-home subdivision on the shuttered Glider Elementary School campus in South San Jose, sending a builder's remedy project to a Sept. 15 City Council vote that would finalize a $26.6 million land sale the cash-strapped Oak Grove School District has been waiting on for four years.
