Santa Clara-based Orchard Commercial, Inc. has been retained by the City to manage the infrastructure supporting the Santa Clara Convention Center & Visitors Bureau, Hyatt Hotel and Hudson Pacific’s Techmart office building. The assemblage is located at the intersection of Great America Parkway and Tasman.
Orchard was selected as part of an RFP process that included multiple firms. “We are very pleased to be working with the City of Santa Clara on their centerpiece for the region and in our home market”, said Orchard president Joe Lewis. The assignment includes responsibility for an 800 stall parking structure that supports special events at the Convention Center and Levi’s Stadium, in addition to overseeing 25 acres of common space that supports the complex and ensures a high quality experience for office tenants, conventioneers and visitors.
“Orchard offered us significant depth and experience in the local market and we look forward to working with them on this important assignment,” stated Ken Winland, who conducted the RFP and selection process on behalf of the City of Santa Clara.
Orchard was also recently selected for 6 new assignments in Berkeley, Newark and San Jose by a combination of new and existing clients for management of their projects. The addition of these new accounts has increased the Orchard Portfolio of managed properties to over 14 million square feet. “We are fortunate to have clients that continue to reward us with more business and new clients that have retained us over larger competing companies. This is a testament to our high quality workforce and their commitment to assisting customers with their real estate goals,” added Tim Ballas, Vice President.
