SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce that it has hired Loretta McClellan as Marketing/Events Coordinator.
“We are very excited to have Loretta on board,” commented SCCAOR President Myron Von Raesfeld. “With her marketing, graphic design and real estate experience, she will be a great addition to our team.”
Prior to joining SCCAOR, McClellan was owner and creative director of her own public relations company, McClellan Creative. She published a number of fiction books as well as poetry and also did book editing and marketing.
Before that, McClellan served as Director of Communications for San Francisco-based Arcadia Home Care and Staffing’s seven offices and three divisions. Arcadia-San Francisco is now Alegre Home Care. McClellan reported to Arcadia’s CEO and was in charge of media and events for the company. Her work entailed creating collateral design and she was the primary author of the corporate publication.
McClellan also sold real estate with Coldwell Banker in Los Gatos and Saratoga, and Bailey Properties in Scotts Valley. Additionally, she was director of marketing for a San Jose real estate company.
An artist, McClellan also ran an art gallery in Maine. Additionally, she did marketing and communications for a museum and economic development-related work while in Maine.
“I am excited to return to my roots in real estate marketing, design, and events management,” said McClellan, who was born in San Jose and raised in Campbell. “As a San Jose native and former REALTOR®, contributing to such a service-oriented organization as the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® is a most-meaningful opportunity. I look forward to serving the membership, in both the industry and region that has always remained close to my heart.”
