Sascha Wagner Named President and CEO of Huntsman Architectural Group

San Francisco, CA — Huntsman Architectural Group, a nationally recognized architectural and design firm, has named Sascha Wagner as president and CEO effective April 24, 2014. Wagner will be responsible for developing strategy, partnerships, and new business opportunities in the company’s San Francisco and New York offices. Since joining Huntsman in 2004, Wagner has spearheaded projects for many of the firm’s portfolio clients, including Pixar, Google, Dolby Laboratories, Moody’s Analytics, and Lucasfilm. Wagner has also recently been named to the firm’s board of directors.

The firm’s founder, Daniel Huntsman, will continue as chairman. “Sascha has been an invaluable member of our management team and has helped improve project and business practices, staff development, and visibility for the firm,” says Huntsman. “Sascha’s management skills, business acumen, and ability to bring people together are ideally suited to moving our vision forward and sustaining our current growth and expansion.”

Wagner brings 18 years of interior design and project management expertise to the role, along with a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and academic clients. A leader in the interior design profession, he has recently served as IIDA Northern California president and is a member of USGBC and the Interior Design Coalition of California, where he has helped influence interior design legislation in the state. His projects have won national and regional design awards and have been showcased in leading publications along with his feature articles on design trends, professional practice, and industry insights. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a B.F.A. in Interior Design from Ringling College of Art and Design.
