Hayward, Calif., July 12, 2018 – Shea Properties and Colliers International announced today the lease of a ±41,905 square foot industrial building located at 28321 Industrial Boulevard, in Hayward, CA to Quartzy, Inc.
The new development project known as Shea Center Hayward, is comprised of four Class “A” state-of-the-art industrial buildings ranging from 28,000 to 113,000 square feet.
The facility was leased by Quartzy, Inc. (www.quartzy.com), the world’s number one lab management platform, which helps scientists easily organize orders, manage inventory, and reduce costs. As an example, the New York Stem Cell Foundation use Quartzy as it hunts for cures for diabetes and ALS. In total, more than 10,000 other startups, non-profits, multi-nationals and leading academic labs now use Quartzy—as their lab equipment supplier.
Quartzy leased Building 1 of Shea Center Hayward. The building is ±41,905 square feet and features 28’ interior clear height, high image two story office configuration, dock and grade level loading, heavy power, ESFR sprinkler system, and ample trailer/employee parking. There is immediate access to I-880 and Highway 92 /San Mateo Bridge, and the project is in close proximity to the Union Landing retail center.
