Studley Promotes Julia Wilhelm to Managing Director in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (March 7, 2012) – Global tenant advisory firm Studley is pleased to announce the promotion of Julia Wilhelm to managing director. Wilhelm is based in the firm’s San Francisco office where she focuses on tenant representation across a diverse array of industry sectors including financial services, law, technology and non-profit advisory. Previously, she was an associate director.

Wilhelm has represented office lease transactions totaling over 1.5 million square feet in downtown San Francisco. Clients include San Francisco-based firms SAY Media, Sideman & Bancroft, and Business for Social Responsibility, as well as national and multi-national companies such as Greenberg Traurig, Shearman & Sterling, EarthLink, UbiSoft, and the Nature Conservancy.

She joined Studley in 2007.

Wilhelm was the first real estate professional in San Francisco to have been awarded the LEED-Accredited Professional designation from the US Green Building Council. She is the West Coast head of Studley’s Sustainable Real Estate Practice Group.

Wilhelm is an active member of the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco where she previously served on the Board of Directors. She was a 2009 recipient of the California Real Estate Journal’sGreen Leader award and was honored in 2011 as one of the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence.

A graduate of Duke University, Wilhelm earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with an emphasis in finance. She also completed programs at the London School of Economics in London, England and The Sorbonne in Paris, France.
