San Francisco, CA (June 20, 2019) – Truebeck Construction, an industry-leading commercial general contractor, is pleased to announce the opening of its fourth office in Portland, Oregon. Truebeck has served clients in the Pacific Northwest over the past decade and now this office is a hub for continuing to build in Oregon and Washington.

Truebeck has assembled a local team with Portland roots and extensive Pacific Northwest experience. The office is led by seasoned Truebeck leadership, Ryan Wood, Project Executive, and Betsy Bice, Preconstruction Executive, who both joined Truebeck in 2011. The local team includes Oregon-native Scott Zinkgraf, Senior Project Manager who joined Truebeck in 2007, and Christine Zinkgraf, Senior Project Manager, who have spent over 14 years managing large-scale construction projects across the Western US. The core team has led some of the firm’s most complex ground-up and interiors projects for commercial office, life science, and healthcare markets, including clients such as Uber, Apple, Twitter, Facebook, GitHub, Mozilla, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer, UCSF, Kaiser, Vantage Data Centers, Shorenstein Realty Services, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Hudson Pacific Properties, and Kilroy Realty. The team’s long tenure with Truebeck, and their understanding of local market conditions and relationships with subcontractors generate value for Truebeck’s clients.

“We have been asked by many of our clients to look at projects in Portland and the Pacific Northwest,” said Sean Truesdale, Co-Founder of Truebeck. “That combined with a core team that is native to Portland made the decision to expand to the Northwest an easy one. We are motivated by the opportunity this will bring to better serve our clients beyond the Bay Area.”

Truebeck’s strategic expansion includes metro hubs with growing economies that feature capital, talent, and renowned academic, medical and science institutions in alignment with their core expertise. The Pacific Northwest’s economic growth in market segments aligned with Truebeck’s key areas of expertise include commercial office, corporate campus, mixed-use, healthcare, education, science, and data centers.

Truebeck will bring specialized expertise in true design-build delivery, high-level preconstruction, robust MEP estimating, advanced construction technology, and high-performance systems to the Portland construction market.

“We have relationships with clients and designers who serve in all three regions: California, Oregon and Washington. They have encouraged us to expand to Portland and bring our specialized expertise to that construction market,” said Nick Pera, Chief Operating Officer. “Most important, our office is built around local leadership, who have personal knowledge, relationships, and motivation to succeed in the Pacific Northwest.”

Truebeck has offices in California and Oregon to support client work throughout the West Coast. The new office is in the Concord Building, a historic building in downtown, located at 208 SW Harvey Milk Street, Suite 400, Portland, Oregon, 97204.
