SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., Nov. 26, 2018 – Webcor, a leading California general and specialty contractor, has promoted Greg Chauhan to senior vice president. Chauhan joins the company’s Executive Team and leads its Safety Department and overall field operations. A 19-year Webcor veteran, Chauhan previously served as vice president, most recently overseeing construction field operations for University of California, Merced’s $1.3 billion campus expansion.

Throughout his career at Webcor, Chauhan led field operations teams as construction manager for some of the company’s largest and most successful projects. In addition to UC Merced, Chauhan oversaw construction of The Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center, the Taube-Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto, Calif., and the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
Prior to joining Webcor, Chauhan was a construction manager for Habitat for Humanity after beginning his career working with other large general contractors. He received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Villanova University.
