Webcor Elevates Matt Rossie to Executive Team as Senior Vice President

SAN FRANCISCO, October 1, 2019 – San Francisco-based general contractor Webcor recently promoted Matt Rossie to senior vice president. In his new role, Rossie will join the company’s Executive Team, which oversees all departments, and provides executive oversight to projects with multifaceted project delivery elements. These projects include public-private partnerships, design-build contracts, and technically complex projects. Rossie has managed building teams at Webcor since joining in 2001, most recently serving as vice president and leading some of its largest new construction projects.

With 30 years of experience in the industry, Rossie has been at the helm of executive project management from the concept phase through construction. He has successfully led teams for a variety of project types, including university residential housing, research laboratories, academic buildings, office buildings, museums, and civic buildings.

Rossie has led such high-profile projects as the UC Merced 2020 Expansion, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Headquarters, SFMOMA Expansion, and the California Academy of Sciences. Rossie earned his B.A. in technical production from UCLA and an MFA in technical production from Southern Methodist University.
