SAN RAMON, CA – Bishop Ranch, the largest mixed-use business community in the East Bay, announced it has signed a lease with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland for a pediatric medical clinic with multiple specialties including orthopedics and sports medicine. The new medical clinic is expected to open later this summer and will be located at the Bishop Ranch Medical Center, comprised of three buildings located at 2301, 2303 and 2305 Camino Ramon in San Ramon.
The UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland clinic will offer a variety of specialized pediatric medical care such as cardiology, nutrition, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, endocrinology, ENT/otolaryngology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, psychiatry, pulmonary, surgery, speech/language, orthopedics, the Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes, and a concussion clinic in its new 5,000 square foot facility. In addition to the new clinic, the new Diablo Pharmacy and many other medical providers can be found at the growing Bishop Ranch Medical Center, including the John Muir Urgent Care Center, Diablo Family Physicians, Diablo Valley Ear Nose and Throat, Allergy and Asthma Clinic, as well as diverse medical specialty offices including physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, internal medicine, podiatry and a variety of dentists including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and endodontics.
The San Ramon area has seen expansion of its medical community in recent years with the addition of Kaiser Permanente’s medical office building in Bishop Ranch. Tenet Healthcare and John Muir’s joint venture partnership with San Ramon Regional Medical Center, in addition to the Bishop Ranch Medical Center, all serve the growing needs of local business tenants and the larger community.

In addition, Diablo Pharmacy, an independent, privately operated pharmacy opened in the Bishop Ranch Medical Center in mid-May. “It’s been a life long dream to open my own pharmacy,” said owner P.J. Jahan, who worked with Longs and CVS previously. “Sunset Development was focused on adding a pharmacy to the amenities offered at its Medical Center and its in-house team of leasing, construction and property management professionals made the process seamless from design through construction.” Diablo Pharmacy is located at 2301 Camino Ramon.
