Studio G Architects of Campbell, Calif. is credited with designing the project, which was led by architect Kelly Simcox.
Bixby’s attention to the lifestyle needs of today’s companies has come to define the firm’s office development strategy. The flexible building configuration at THE Campus is designed for one or two tenants, each with its own designated outdoor amenities area. The project can accommodate companies requiring approximately 90,000 square feet, 135,000 square feet, or 235,000 square feet. A fourth building with approximately 15,000 square feet is currently leased.
THE Campus is located at the northwest corner of Trimble Road and Orchard Parkway, adjacent to San Jose’s North 1st Street Corridor, within one block of VTA light rail access and less than one mile from Highway 101.
THE Campus represents the third major office park repositioning by Bixby in the Silicon Valley in the past two years. Bixby delivered a highly acclaimed office campus renovation in Santa Clara, Calif. in May 2012, leasing the project immediately upon completion to Infoblox and garnering the Best Rehab/Reuse Award by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Bixby followed that success with a 165,000-square-foot office campus on River Oaks Parkway in San Jose that is now occupied by Nimble Storage.
In Los Angeles, Bixby is putting the finishing touches on a five-story office building redesign in El Segundo, and the firm has just purchased two Orange County office buildings that will be developed into contemporary multi-tenant office projects. Bixby is also under contract on a major office acquisition that it expects to announce later this month.
