CANOPY’s Elevated Offices Form the Centerpiece of Silicon Valley’s “Sand Hill 2.0” at Springline
MENLO PARK (November 1, 2022) – CANOPY, the most elevated, design-driven shared workspace today announced the opening of their new location in Menlo Park at Springline.
CANOPY Menlo Park combines flexible membership options with unparalleled hospitality-inspired services–including an integrated, chef-driven coffee shop concept, a first for the brand. The 20,000-square-foot space, designed by CANOPY co-founder Amir Mortazavi of Studio Mortazavi, is located at 1300 El Camino Real at Springline, the new 6.4-acre mixed-use project developed by Presidio Bay Ventures (“Presidio Bay”) and hailed as “Sand Hill Road 2.0.” This is the fourth Bay Area location for CANOPY, which was founded by Steve Mohebi, Amir Mortazavi, and Yves Béhar in 2015.

Striking, sustainable design at its corePresidio Bay and CANOPY Menlo Park designer Studio Mortazavi planned the space to bring beauty from the outside in. More comparable to a five-star hotel than a traditional office, the space’s interior is built to last, while enhancing productivity with elegantly ergonomic Herman Miller furniture and abundant natural light. Sustainability extends into the engineering, with the utilization of solar and carbon offsets, state-of-the-art air handling systems, and eco-conscious office materials.
From the green and brown foliage of the Santa Cruz Mountains to the clay roof tiles and stone walls of Stanford University, CANOPY Menlo Park translates the neighborhood’s surrounding beauty into a vibrant office environment. Throughout the space, members are immersed in clay and wicker textures in terra-cotta tones, with decor elements sourced from across the globe.

With deep roots in the Menlo Park community, Chef Greg Kuzia-Carmel will helm Canteen Coffee Shop housed within CANOPY. Chef Kuzia-Carmel is a nationally pedigreed chef who previously served as a chef at Michelin-starred restaurants Per Se in New York, NY, and Quince in San Francisco, CA and most recently is the chef/owner of Camper in Downtown Menlo Park. Creating a fresh, ingredient-driven café menu with coffee shop classics, the Canteen Coffee Shop team has tapped Sightglass Roasters for the coffee offerings and provision highlights include housemade pastries, a Persian herb quiche, and a smoked salmon sandwich with everything spiced cream cheese, among other menu offerings.
CANOPY members will reap the benefits of the wider Springline development with amenities including nine chef-driven restaurant concepts, a fully-equipped fitness center, a golf simulator, an entertainment lounge, a community dog park, and nearly two acres of public outdoor space.
