Carmel Partners’ David McWhorter Leaving the Firm

SAN FRANCISCO–Carmel Partners (“Carmel”), the real estate investment management firm, announced today that David “Mac” McWhorter, Managing Partner, Head of Investor Relations, will be leaving the firm at year-end to pursue other opportunities.

“We appreciate Mac’s contributions to Carmel over the past two and a half years,” said Ron Zeff, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Carmel. “Mac was helpful in the successful closing last year of Carmel Partners Investment Fund V with $1.025 billion of commitments in nine months. We wish him the very best in his new endeavors.”

Carmel said Richard Bennion, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, who has been with the firm for eight years, will handle day-to-day investor relations activities and the team’s fundraising activities.
