Fisherman’s Wharf’s Newest Boutique Hotel Partners with Bay Area-Based Miette, The Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot and The Union Square Holiday Ice Rink to Offer Guests Unique Localized Holiday Experiences
SAN FRANCISCO (August 29, 2018) – Hotel Zoe, Fisherman’s Wharf’s newest boutique hotel, is pleased to introduce new festive offerings for the upcoming holiday season including Bay Area-based favorites: Miette gingerbread house kits, Christmas trees on-demand provided by nearby The Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot and tickets to The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square. With its prime location in the center of San Francisco’s vibrant Fisherman’s Wharf, Hotel Zoe is within easy walking distance of some of the city’s most popular neighborhoods including the Marina, Pacific Heights, North Beach and Nob Hill. Hotel Zoe is the perfect setting for guests seeking unforgettable and one-of-a-kind holiday experiences.
“We’re delighted to celebrate our second holiday season at Hotel Zoe and share our favorite local treats and holiday cheer with guests,” said Amy Cacho, Area Director of Sales and Marketing. “We want our guests to create lasting memories when staying with us, so we’re excited to introduce them to our treasured holiday traditions upon arrival.”
Miette Gingerbread House Kits
Beginning November 25, guests staying at Hotel Zoe can purchase a Miette gingerbread house kit made from Miette’s famous gingersnap cookie dough. Kits include all the necessary fixings to construct the perfect gingerbread house including artisanal candies, icing and house-shaped cookies to ensemble the structure. Miette’s gingerbread house kits are $25 each and available upon check-in. A portion of the proceeds from gingerbread house sales will go to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
Miette started at the Berkley Farmers’ Market in 2001 and has since become San Francisco’s favorite pastry shop with locations at the Ferry Building Marketplace and in Hayes Valley.
Christmas Trees On-Demand with The Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot
As many families choose to travel over the holidays and may miss out on Christmas tree trimming traditions, guests staying at Hotel Zoe can order a Christmas tree on-demand to enjoy in their guestroom in partnership with nearby The Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot. On-demand Christmas trees will include lights and ornaments as well as set-up for $200 per order. A portion of the proceeds from the tree on-demand sales will go to The Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot.
Every year since 1947, the Guardsmen organization has sold Christmas trees in San Francisco to send at-risk youth to summer camps. The proceeds from this tradition have enabled tens of thousands of kids to attend summer camps who otherwise would never have had the opportunity.
Deck Your Room with Bells of Holly
Not only can guests order a Christmas tree on-demand, they can even request decorations to be sent to their room, to completely deck out their rooms in festive cheer. Kits include all the necessary trimmings such as tinsel, holly garlands and baubles to create the ultimate holiday space. Decoration kits are $25 each and available at the time of the reservation booking.
