SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Chase Center has been nominated for both the Project of the Year and Interior and Fit Out Awards in TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2019. The Project of the Year Award is based on any completed new-build or expansion, modernization or major capital enhancement project of an existing venue, while the Interior and Fit Out Award recognizes the interior, hospitality, fan zone, concourse or makeover project that sets a new industry standard for interior design and fit-out in major sports venues.
An exciting addition to the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco and city overall, Chase Center is the only privately-financed arena or stadium project to be built on private property in the modern era of sports. Featuring a diverse set of seating types and club experiences, Chase Center offers a premium experience for every guest of a game or concert from its courtside lounges to theater boxes to the Modelo Cantina, accessible to anyone in the arena.
Chase Center, which opened this past September, has already hosted some of the top musical acts in the industry, including Metallica, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Eric Clapton, John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band. Along with serving as the home of the six-time NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, Chase Center will host nearly 200 events a year. Additional acts slated to perform at Chase Center include the Jonas Brothers, Ariana Grande, The Who, Cher, Celine Dion and Phil Collins.
Winners will be announced during TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit in London taking place November 26-27.
