Group seeks to promote investment from China
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Fostering investments from China to Silicon Valley: that is the goal of China Silicon Valley, a new 501(c) 6 nonprofit organization that chose San Jose for its operations. On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, China Silicon Valley will hold a launch celebration at San Jose City Hall in which presenters will explain how the group plans to stimulate economicinvestmentand createjobsin the region.
“We are very excited about the prospect of partnering with the organization’s leadership to help bring jobs and growth to San Joseand Silicon Valley,” said Kim Walesh, Director of EconomicDevelopment for the City of San Jose. “China Silicon Valley will help Chinesecompanies and investors become better oriented with the region.”
“Our mission is to facilitate the relationship between the cities of Silicon Valley and the fast growing cities in China,” says Victor Wang, Co-President of China Silicon Valley.
