San Ramon, Calif. – (February 13, 2020) – City Center Bishop Ranch today announced leases with four new merchants who will bring even more fun and eclectic choices to the 300,000-square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination — including the popular Sprinkles Cupcakes’ second location in the Bay Area.
The other three new tenants are Madison Reed Color Bar; Patelco Credit Union; and World Wrapps, a fresh update on delicious wraps and beverages with an international flair. All four of the new merchants are expected to open later this year.
“From the outset, our vision for City Center Bishop Ranch has been to fill it with a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and entertainment, which we believed in turn would make the center a magnet for the region,” said Alex Mehran Jr., president and CEO of Sunset Development Company, owner and operator of the center. “With their focus on outstanding products and on warmly welcoming community members into their stores, these four new merchants fit the bill and will add exciting new choices for guests.”
Sprinkles Cupcakes opened its first bakery in Beverly Hills in 2005, drawing long lines of loyal cupcake fans and celebrity endorsements. Today, the company has more than 40 bakery and ATM locations from coast to coast and their portfolio of sweet treats has grown beyond iconic cupcakes to also include cookies, brownies and layer cakes. Sprinkles is excited to expand its Northern California footprint and welcome guests in the East Bay to its newest bakery at City Center Bishop Ranch.
Patelco Credit Unionis building a first-of-its-kind branch featuring an adjacent community room, which opens into the Sprinkles Cupcakes space. The unique partnership between Patelco and Sprinkles will provide its members an inviting place to relax and enjoy a cupcake and coffee while they meet with Patelco’s team members to discuss their personal financial health and wellbeing. The not-for-profit credit union is dedicated to serving its members and the broader community through philanthropic endeavors while offering financial products and services that help each member achieve their personal financial goals—the core mission at Patelco. With more than 360,000 members primarily in and around northern California, Patelco offers personalized solutions, advice and expertise that empower members to achieve financial freedom.

World Wrapps takes the wrap sandwich to the next level, according to Keith Cox and Matt Blair, two of the four original owners who started the successful Wrapp craze in San Francisco in 1995. The Marin County residents launched what they call “Wrapps 2.0” at Town Center Corte Madera, introducing new ethnic wrappers and “craveable combinations including house-made, fresh-pressed Flatbread Wrapps, Nori Wrapps and Rice Paper Wrapps.” The menu is rouded out by globally inspired beverages that include Boba Teas, Mango Lassi and Thai Coconut Iced Tea.
