The premiere corporate real estate executives’ association is pleased to announce its 2019 CRE Awards Honorees. Ed Axelson, Senior Director, Corporate Real Estate and Facilities at Splunk has been named Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year. Additionally, Carol Sandman, Founding Principal at AP+I Design, Inc. has been selected as Service Provider of the Year and Ylva Sandberg, Operations Director, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions has been chosen as Young Leader of the Year. All three will be honored at the organization’s 22nd Annual CRE Awards Gala on November, 14, 2019 at the famed Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.
Founded in 1998, the CRE Awards is the flagship event for CoreNet NorCal. The program recognizes one Bay Area-based corporate real estate executive who’s local and/or global real estate accomplishments for their company and the industry distinguish them among their peers. It also recognizes one Bay Area-based corporate real estate service provider whose performance and client interactions provide a uniquely valued experience to those with whom they work and evidences actions that transcend the expected. Additionally, for the second year in a row, the program honors one Bay Area-based young leader who exemplifies excellence and has been identified as “one to watch” within the broad field of corporate real estate.
