SAN FRANCISCO-Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: DLR), a leading global provider of data center and colocation solutions, announced today that Michael Henry has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Mr. Henry is currently Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Rovi Corporation, a pioneering developer of cloud-based media technologies headquartered in Santa Clara, CA. He will join Digital Realty on April 13, 2015.

Commenting on the new CIO appointment, Mr. Stein noted: “Michael brings a strong track record of IT leadership and innovation. Augmenting his current experience with advertising technology leader Rovi with previous IT leadership roles at well-known stalwarts such as Ericsson and Applied Materials, Michael will be well situated to insure our worldwide employees’ ability to efficiently and expertly serve our clients’ needs through the best internal IT platforms and systems. Michael also brings us an extensive Information Security background which is a critical element of IT today.”

As previously announced, Jim Smith will retain the Chief Technology Officer role, while also overseeing Digital Realty’s Property and Technical Operations.
Mr. Henry will be based at Digital Realty’s Corporate Headquarters in San Francisco.
