SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 9, 2015) – SRS Real Estate Partners announced today that it brokered the sale of a 20,000 sf Staples retail store located at 500 E. Hamilton Ave. in Campbell, Calif. Brandenburg Properties purchased the retail building from Freesh-Metro as part of a 1031 exchange transaction, which closed Mar. 30, 2015. Brandenburg also purchased an adjacent 26,000 sf Shell station from Freesh-Metro, which closed Feb. 6, 2015.
The Staples building and Shell station are particularly well located at the Hamilton Avenue entrance and exit to US Highway 17. Other retailers in the immediate vicinity include Home Depot, Panera Bread, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Bruce Frazer and Randol Mackley with SRS Real Estate Partners represented the buyer, Brandenburg Properties, as well as the seller, Freesh-Metro, in both transactions.
