SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Fisher Development, Inc. (Fisher) announced today that it hired Tom Perko and Mike Isola, two seasoned construction professionals to join its ranks.
As a Senior Project Manager, Tom Perko is taking the lead on the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, due to break ground later this summer. The 5-story, 68,000 square foot, mixed-use building will house a community center, gymnasium, parking and 50 affordable dwelling units. Most recently, Mr. Perko was a Project Manager at Nibbi Brothers, where he led several projects to their successful completion including the Boys & Girls Club, Fulton Clubhouse in Hayes Valley.
Mike Isola, Senior Superintendent, is teaming up with Mr. Perko on the Booker T. Washington Project. Prior to joining Fisher, Mr. Isola worked for Plant Construction Co. for more than three decades. Among his many career highlights was the conversion of 140 New Montgomery from its former use as Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Building to a stunning, modern office tower. The Art Deco gem, built in 1925, was the largest seismic retrofit of its kind, which achieved LEED Gold status.
“We’re so energized to have two such respected industry pros join our team,” said Alex Fisher, President of Fisher. “The tremendous strength they bring to bear represents our vision of where we’re taking our company now and in to the future.”
Celebrating its 45th year in business, Fisher is a San Francisco-based general contractor that specializes in complex, urban core projects.
