Furnished Quarters Opens San Francisco Office, Tyler Smittle Hired as General Manager

(San Francisco, CA) January 23, 2018 – Furnished Quarters, the largest independently owned and operated provider of temporary furnished apartments, has opened an office in San Francisco, CA and added new corporate housing inventory to its luxury apartment offerings. To head the office and strategic development of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, the company has brought on Tyler Smittle in the role of General Manager.

Furnished Quarters assessed key cities with strong temporary furnished apartment demand throughout the United States and overseas, and based on client demand, chose to open its newest location in San Francisco. This highly requested market represents a key element in Furnished Quarters’ long-term growth strategy, with management teams now operating out of the East and West coasts. Furnished Quarters currently operates dozens of San Francisco apartments and the new office will allow the company to expand its portfolio.

To lead the initiative, Furnished Quarters is leveraging the successful track record of Tyler Smittle, who has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and corporate housing industries. In his most recent role as General Manager, Northern California at ABODA Global Housing Management, he established core inventory and design recognition for the ABODA NorCal brand. Tyler also has a lengthy history in hotel management for brands including Marriott International, Commune Hotels, Ayres Hotels and Evolution Hospitality.
