Gap Inc. is turning parts of its waterfront headquarters at 2 Folsom Street into a venue for live music, artist residencies and maker workshops, the latest step in a multiyear effort by the retailer to put its home-city building to work beyond the desks it filled when it ordered staff back five days a week.
